William Gibson - The Miracle Worker by William Gibson
was immortalized on screen by Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke.
This absorbing classic is based on the true story of Annie
Sullivan and her blind, deaf and mute student Helen Keller.
Despite their volatile relationship, Annie must free this
spoiled, sometimes violent child from her silent world where
she is unable to communicate with her family and the rest
of the world around her. But Helen has a mind and a spirit.
She will not accept willingly or meekly the teaching practices
of Annie Sullivan. Their clashes are intensely physical
and emotional, but Helen will learn despite her family's
interference because Annie will not give up. The Miracle
Worker is a story about hope and the resourcefulness of
the human mind.

Don Gaggin - Nunsense II - The Second Coming... the
Musical takes place six weeks after the Sisters have staged
their first benefit. They have been bitten by the theatre
"bug" and wish to present a "thank you" show to all their
supporters. Of course, chaos soon erupts. Two Franciscans
claim to be Sister Amnesia who has won the Publishers Clearing
House Sweepstakes. Apparently, a talent scout is in the
audience and the Nuns are determined to out-do each other
on stage. The riotous bingo game run by Sister Amnesia,
the clever songs and the hilarious Nuns will leave the audiences
rolling in the aisles. If you saw the previous Nunsense
at ITOPA or even if you didn't you will not want to miss
out on Nunsense II. Laughter is the best kind of medicine
for whatever ails you.
